Started dogs will have formal obedience (sit, here, heel, walking at heel, and place), collar conditioning, force fetch, marking and retrieving on water and land, steady to shot, delivery to hand, and introduced to birds and gun fire. They will also be comfortable in a family setting, potty trained inside, crate trained, and exposed to travel and hunting situations  

These dogs will be ready to easily pass an AKC JH test or join the hunter in the field. 

Started dogs are available on a limited basis. These are mainly dogs we hold back to train and evaluate from our own litters and are 10-12 months old after completing our Basic Gun Dog Program.
